Save a copy of sample .htaccess file from this link Save (rename the downloaded file by removing the name text)
In case, you want to create one then use a standard notepad editor by following below instructions.
- Open your text editor software.
- Enter all custom rules and commands.
- File Save As, choose "All Types" as save type.
- File name: .htacess
- Save File and upload the same to your app server's root directory.
